FAQs

Institutes like IHMH specialize in skill-based, work-integrated learning and professional training. In contrast, colleges and universities primarily offer academic degrees focused on theoretical knowledge and research.

Courses at IHMH are divided into modules, each taking 30–60 days to complete and earning credit points. Programs may contain 1 to 30 modules depending on the structure.

Graduate programs include Master’s degrees (2 years) and Doctorates (5–8 years), focused on specialization and research/professional roles.

Undergraduate programs follow high school and include diplomas or bachelor’s degrees. Graduate programs follow a bachelor’s and include master’s or doctoral courses.

No. A completed post graduate degree is required for most training courses.

No entrance exams are required to join IHMH courses.

No. Our programs do not fall under RCI. They are skill-based, expertise-focused offerings for professional development.

You can enrol in up to three courses at once, based on your availability and learning capacity.

Long-term course admissions are held four times a year. Short-term courses are scheduled based on trainer availability.

Applicants must have completed a postgraduate degree from a recognized university.

No, there is no age restriction. Lifelong learners are welcome.

You must have studied in English medium or demonstrate basic proficiency in understanding, reading, and writing in English. Support is available for learners with limited fluency.

Documents should ideally be submitted before the admission closing date. The earlier you submit, the sooner your admission can be confirmed.

No. Photocopies or scanned digital copies of documents are sufficient.

No. You only need to pay the course fee. There are no additional application or processing fees.

There is minimal difference today. Most IHMH programs follow a hybrid learning model, combining self-study, live online sessions, and mentor-guided assignments.

No traditional lectures are required. However, some modules may include virtual sessions or interactive discussions with your tutor.

Modules are delivered through self-paced materials, online content, and periodic tutor support via email or messaging. Some modules may include live sessions.

Yes, a dedicated tutor is assigned for each course. They assist with doubts, mark assignments, and offer academic guidance. Few courses may have interactive sessions.

Course materials are sent via email and can be accessed on mobile, tablet, or computer. Downloadable resources are also provided. If you need materials in alternative formats, inform the student advisor early.

Yes. Our programs are designed to suit working professionals, postgraduate students, and even those travelling, as long as you have a stable internet connection.

Study time depends on the course. Short-term courses may require more concentrated effort, while long-term courses allow flexibility and weekend learning.

Approximately two weeks before your course begins, you’ll receive a detailed study plan including module timelines and session schedules.

Yes. You can request an official study break for valid reasons. However, an unnotified absence for more than half of the course period may lead to suspension and re-admission charges.

Assessments vary by course and may include assignments, case studies, projects, or online assessments. These are usually completed at home or submitted virtually.

No traditional, in-person written exams are conducted. Assessments are assignment-based or viva voce based.

Yes, you may re-submit assignments as per course policies.

Yes, successful learners are awarded a certificate acknowledging completion of training and learning, along with applicable earned credits. These certificates uphold standards of expert learning and are internationally recognized as evidence of additional professional expertise.

If needed, we can create a sample and share it with you. However, that’s not how our system works. Our materials are meticulously curated, including charts, PPTs, audio files, and theory-based resources. Most of the module learning materials are developed by experienced guides and trainers, ensuring high-quality content that enhances the learning experience. The course is designed to provide practical takeaways and resources that can be applied immediately in your practice. Our strength lies in the quality of our learning materials and the dedicated guidance provided.

While both the certificate and module materials adhere to international standards, we are not permitted to share them as samples solely for admission purposes. Full materials are reserved for enrolled students due to copyright and quality standards.

As per the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021 (NCAHP Act), an individual may be designated and practice as a psychologist in India, provided that he or she possesses a recognized undergraduate degree and a postgraduate master’s qualification in psychology.

No. Fees must be paid in full at the time of enrolment.

Your student advisor will confirm receipt after checking with the accounts team.

Your first point of contact is your student advisor. For subject-specific queries, your assigned academic trainer will assist you.

We provide academic accommodations for learners with disabilities, health concerns, or learning difficulties. Please inform us during admission so support arrangements can be planned.

Some programs involve group assignments where you’ll be grouped with peers. Most courses, however, follow a one-on-one learning model with trainer interaction.

No physical ID cards are issued since all programs are virtual.

No. Participation in workshops or events outside your course curriculum is optional.

Yes, you may visit, but prior appointment is mandatory as our teams are often engaged in external training and academic assignments.

Trainers are active professionals and educators. You may meet them only during workshops or events where they are officially present.

Our programs follow national and international academic standards. However, for specific professions, please verify with your local regulatory body for recognition or licensing requirements.

Yes. Our expertise-based programs are career-focused and align with industry needs. We also inform students of job opportunities as they arise.

Yes. You may request course changes or refunds under certain conditions. Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy.

  • For courses 12 months or longer:
    • Full refund if cancelled more than 3 weeks before the start date
    • 25% fee retained if cancelled less than 3 weeks before the start
    • 50% fee retained if cancelled after the course starts
    • No refund after 6 weeks of course commencement
  • For courses less than 12 months:
    • Similar rules apply
    • No refund after 2 weeks of course start
  • One-day or WhatsApp-based courses / Training Programs:
    • No refund – as they are short and trainer-oriented

If inactive for more than 30% of the course duration, the course becomes inactive. Readmission requires: 20% fee to continue, 35% fee to restart as a fresh learner, or 50% fee if the course has expired. Readmission fees ensure fair course completion, learning continuity, and uninterrupted guidance and administrative support.

All relevant details will be shared via email two weeks before your course start date.

Accommodation support is available only for international students visiting for onsite learning, if any.

Each module is assigned a credit value that reflects the estimated number of learning hours involved. Credits are accumulated as you progress.

Modules are the foundational units of our programs, typically designed to be completed in 30 to 60 days. Upon completing a module, you earn credits. Depending on the course duration, a program may include anywhere from one to thirty modules.

Yes. If you have completed relevant modules or partially completed a diploma, certificate, or degree, you may be eligible for a credit transfer. To apply, submit your previous academic documents before your course starts so our academic advisors can evaluate your eligibility. This process helps shorten the time required to achieve your current qualification goals.

Absolutely. Our learning model is designed to allow flexibility—you can study from home, at work, while commuting, or from any location with an internet connection. All you need is a device and a focused mindset.

You’ll receive a detailed study schedule, including module-wise timelines and assignment deadlines, approximately two weeks before your course begins. For modules involving live sessions, interactive dates will be communicated closer to the event once trainer availability is confirmed.

No, most of our courses do not require current employment or a specific job role. Course descriptions will specify if any such requirement exists.

IHMH stands for Institute of Holistic Mental Health. It is an institute committed to offering expertise-based, career-oriented training programs across disciplines such as psychology, counseling, mental health, life skills, and more. Our programs are tailored for both students and professionals seeking skill enhancement.

We are not under UGC. Few of our programs are run in collaboration with reputed institutions and universities. Specific details of affiliation or certification are mentioned in each course description. Other expertise courses do not come under UGC and can be considered as additional expertise earning courses.

Course materials are accessible for the duration of the course and for another three-year period thereafter. Downloadable materials will be yours and you can use them at your will.

Progress is tracked through completed assignments, module completions, tutor feedback, and participation in any interactive sessions.

You’ll need access to a stable internet connection, a laptop or smartphone, and a PDF/document viewer. For some interactive sessions, a webcam and microphone may be required

Yes. Select programs offer post-course mentorship, project reviews, or networking opportunities with trainers and professionals.

Yes, international learners are welcome. Programs are delivered online, and time-zone flexibility is considered during session planning.
